As educators and parents, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to teach our children. Friendship Books approach children in a playful way and they provide many educational opportunities. They are the perfect tool to improve literacy and foster children’s social skills.
We have developed several lesson plans for K-6 grade students, which were presented at the Montana State Reading Conference in Billings in fall, 2011: http://www.montanareads.org. We are happy to share these lesson plans with interested educators. They are easy to implement, educational, social and fun. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your free lesson plans.
Friendship Books are ideal for classroom activities. They also provide tools for coaches, homeschooling parents, counselors, scout and camp leaders to help children to reach out to each other, learn more about each other and value the importance of friendships and childhood memories. Friendship Book entries also provide a valuable resource for other social activities like reading clubs, field trips and school events. Friendship Books are educational, fun and social – offline.Categories: Activities, Education
